Residential HVAC Design Engineer

Description:
Responsible for performing mechanical and plumbing design of energy efficient systems with an emphasis on residential and hydronic systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Project Management
• Coordination of design meetings
• Energy evaluation and design recommendations
• Move recommendations into completed design drawings
• Manage, review, and maintain client communications
• Coordination with clients, architects, construction managers and contractors

Desired Experience:

• Residential and small commercial HVAC & plumbing design with emphasis on energy efficient systems
• Hydronic heating design including radiant floor heating
• ACCA Manuals J and D, and Title 24 compliance using Micropas
• AutoCAD 2000 and up
• MS Office
• Demonstrated passion/interest in energy efficiency
• 3+ years of work in the area of mechanical design
• Excellent client skills

Degrees and Licenses:

• ME degree preferred
• PE not required
