Antonia Tsobanoudis

Antonia Tsobanoudis has been working at DEG since 2005 as a Project Manager. Her previous experience included work on water purveying, storage, and water quality projects for the State and a Bay Area water district.

Current DEG responsibilities include providing technical support to over 50 Davis Energy Group Reps and Raters administering and verifying LEED for Homes Projects, grEEn consulting, development of California building energy codes (Title 24), and project management. Ms. Tsobanoudis has worked on various projects involving swimming pool filtration systems. Additional past projects at DEG include and indoor air quality monitoring project for California and an off peak over-cooling project investigating home automation and demand response systems. She also performs energy efficiency review for IOU new residential incentive program and the CEC New Solar Home Partnership.

Ms. Tsobanoudis is an active participant of the Northern California Chapter of U.S. Green Building Council where she is involved in the Adovocacy Committee, the Residential Green Building Advocates Committee, and the Sacramento Branch. She is also an active member of CalHERS, the California Association of HERS Raters. As a parent of an elementary school aged child, Ms. Tsobanoudis is a supporting parent of the Green Schools Initiative which works in conjunction with the Recycling is Simply Elementary (RISE) program of the Davis Joint Unified School District.

Education


Antonia earned a Bachelor of Science degree in both Aeronautical Science and Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Davis in 2003.

Certifications


Antonia is certified as an Engineer in Training in the State of California. She is also a Certified GreenPoint Rater and Certified Green Building Professional through Build It Green.
