Eric Lee

Eric Lee is a DEG Senior Engineer specializing in product development of green HVAC equipment and building products. Areas of expertise include plastic materials and production methods, computer-aided design, sheet metal design, psychrometrics for HVAC applications, refrigeration system design, and project management.

Eric is the Principal Investigator at DEG for the SunCache solar water heater and the HyPak ultra high efficiency RTU projects, and shares technical responsibilities for the E-Form leave-in-place insulated slab edge forming product. Prior projects include the CoolSmart alternative HVAC system and IDEC two-stage residential evaporative cooler (now OASys).

Prior to joining DEG in 1999, Eric was employed by Light and Motion Industries, a vertically-integrated manufacturer of underwater video equipment and bicycle lighting systems. There he gained experience designing and prototyping parts for injection molding and CNC machining.

Education


Eric received his BSME from Johns Hopkins University and his MSME from Stanford University.
