Marc Hoeschele

Marc Hoeschele, PE, joined DEG in 1984 and is the Engineering Manager of the Energy Services group. Over the years, Marc has worked in technology assessment, product development, and standards activities. Technology assessment projects include field evaluations of evaporative cooling systems, residential evaporative condensers, and the DualCool rooftop packaged unit system. Current product development activities include DOE funded projects developing stay-in-place insulated concrete form systems and an advanced residential HVAC system to provide optimized dehumidification and ventilation in humid climates. Standards related projects include ongoing efforts to improve the residential domestic water heating methodology within California’s Title 24.

Education

Marc earned a master’s degree from the University of California at Davis and a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Cornell University.
