DEG has built a reputation working with production home builders, providing Title 24 services, energy efficiency consulting, and assistance with federal, state, and utility incentive programs. We provide full-service project development by performing complete energy analysis, providing compliance documents, designing mechanical systems, coordinating with design consultants, and commissioning.

We work with clients to achieve the best building performance and energy efficiency measures possible. Services include modeling the performance of building designs and energy efficiency measures and establishing compliance with California Title 24 and other government regulations. Our expertise with a variety of software programs and field-testing tools assists clients in measuring the effectiveness of various technologies and products. DEG also helps production builders with environmentally responsible design features for their homes.

DEG is the Provider for the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Homes Program in California and Nevada. During the LEED for Homes Pilot Program DEG expects to certify over 100 homes, including homes by Grupe Company/Marchbrook Building Company. Grupe is the first production builder in the nationwide LEED for Homes Program and its Carsten Crossings subdivision in Rocklin, California include the first production homes to be LEED Certified.
